Brisbane, Australia

Arrr, how cold morning welcomed us. At least during a day it was back at normal / like Estonian summer. Brisbane was very modern and cold in meaning of no emotions. We started our day at 9a.m with private tour at Brisbane old parliament house. Nobody else just turned up. We enjoyed parliament house as it was very British and full of gold and nice interior. Definitely you have to visit parliament house in Brisbane and tour is for free. Next tour we took in Brisbane city botanical gardens. But it was kind a boring. So next time we could just walk there around without guide.

We also visited South bank lagoon. It is really nice relaxing area next to the river with swimming area. Brisbane was really good to visit only 2 days. 2nd day we went to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. At first we couldn't find the right city bus stop as from stop it should go it was moved to somewhere else and those numbers confused me. Finally we managed and paid 6 AUD for bus tickets. In Sanctuary I took at least 80 pictures of koalas. 80!!! Now you see my true love towards koalas. We also feeded from our hand roos *kangaroos*. In sanctuary they had most poisonous snakes and other reptails. We saw sheep dog show. Cutest dog I have ever seen and so well trained! We saw show of eagles. WOW, one of them was about to land at Jiri's hat - twice!

We stayed at YHA Brisbane hostel***. Silent, clean, good location but could be even closer to city center and they had friendly staff.
