Sydney, Australia

Finally we landed at Sydney airport. First we waited at customs to get checked our passports and landing card. Than we waited at quarantine check. You have to declare all your food, medicines and shoes (mhm, if they are together with dirt). They were not so interested in my food at all as I tought or medicines. They wanted to see my trekking shoes! And they washed them for me (how nice of them). Than i wanted to have visa label into my passport. Nope, i missed it. I should ask it already at customs when i gave my passport. Oh jah, now i can do it in Sydney city center somewhere on Lee street. We took shuttle bus (22 AUD to city center and back) to Sydney city center and stayed over night at Triinus place. Triinu is doing good and she is already *australian* in my eyes. As in flats they dont have any heating i was so thankful for my pijama i got for christmas *thank you Viki and Krissu*.

Sydney greeted us with rain but it was quite warm. Like normal rainy summer day in Estonia. Second day it was already without rain and only cloudy. Perfect weather for sightseeing. Sydney reminds me mixture of America, England and Italy. But more and more about America. We have had only junk food *per day we spend 20-25 AUD*. So, here i go again fat. Kings Cross area is full off hostels, hotels and backpacker accomodation. At some point it felt like this city is meant only for visitors and there are not living locals at all. But than we took plane to Darwin and exploring of Sydney will continue in two weeks.
