Awesome 2 day trip to Germany near Munich. Booked hotel and 2 day tickets on their official website. It was cheaper to buy hotel and 2 days ticket than to buy only 2 days tickets so we got kind of hotel for free or Legoland for free...you choose which one :)
Unfortunately weather did not cooperate with us. It was rainy both days but thanks to that there were no queues and we could go over and over and over again on attractions. It was so much fun!!! All that adrenaline. When I saw what kind of queue areas they had prepared there than I felt very lucky to have so few people that we didn't have to queue almost at all. I can imagine how you are spending during a summer time most of it only standing in queues. Horrible.
After running half of the attractions trough...day was over and we drove into hotel.Hotel was nice, clean, calm with wonderful food. I have no negative comments or memories. We stayed at Hotel Restaurant Kannenkeller. I liked in the morning that there was Lidl, Kik and Ted near by, so I could do some shopping before heading back to Legoland. Mainly I needed snack food into the car but ended up buying some clothes, toys etc. Ups.
In Legoland my favorite attraction was Dschungel X-pedition. I also liked Lego Ninjago The Ride. My son and husband liked the most Drachenjagd (Dragon ride) and my daughter liked Flughafen (plane ride), Safari Tour (car ride trough zoo from Lego bricks), Raupenritt and Ritterturnier (horse ride).
Cost of this trip:
Hotel and 2 day tickets 217 eur
Parking 2 days at Legoland 12 eur
Lego toys 100 eur, 35 eur and 25 eur as gifts
I think the coolest box was with Batman car. Really neat.
Toys 19.40 eur
Clothes 11 eur
Gas 53 eur
Food 120 eur which makes 15 eur per person (4 persons in family). Not bad for amount of food we ate - pizzas, waffles, meat and potatoes, ice-cream, popcorn, snacks and hotel dinner with desert :).
I totally recommend for any age. I hope we will go there again in the future. At least we promised for our kids that in three years time we will go. Lets hope the best.
