Marienplatz
Had wonderful weekend trip to Munich. It took us 5 hours by car to get there. Our lovely friends hosted us near Munich in the city called Fürstenfeldbruck. Next day with warm and sunny day we did long and relaxed walking day in the Munich. Saw I think the most impressive sightseeing's starting with Marienplatz where I was amazed with new city hall house. We also happened to be there full hour when their clock (glockenspiel) started to play music and dance. I loved those two horses going around inside the clock. Other than that it reminded me Prague astrological clock at the old town square.

Asamkirche
After that we slowly went towards St. Johann Nepomuk Church which is better known as the Asam Church (Asamkirche). From outside I didn't even realize it was church. It is tiny house between other normal houses. But again inside of that church was impressive. Unfortunately we could see its beauty only behind the gate as it is not open for public anytime, only when they have something going on there. Still I think it is very beautiful and forth the visit. Who knows when you are lucky and get to go inside. And it was time for a coffee break and for me breakfast. We sat outside and enjoyed sunshine.

English Garden Chinese tower
From coffee break we went for a souvenir shopping and it happened to be one of the biggest toy store in Munich
Obletter Spielwaren. It was ONLY shopping I did in this town...how priorities change when you have kids :D Got what I needed and we headed into our last sightseeing destination English Garden. First we saw crazy surfers on the river surfing. Basically they have there only one waive to catch ... but it was enough to have there about 20 brave guys to surf. Than after some last tired walk we made it to the tower. Yes....food...beer....sitting...resting. Classical Bavarian beer experience in the garden with local live music.

Snapshots in Munich
We were 6 hours already walking. Including my sunshine who was most of the time refusing to sit in the trolley. She didn't even fall a sleep whole day! After relaxing we gathered our last bits of energy and took kids into playground and finally home. So yes, Munich is very doable with one day and with small kids.
